2. Types of personal data we collect, how we obtain your data, and why we have it
We process your personal data for the purposes specified below:
2.1. Purchase of goods and fulfillment of your orders
2.1.1. Purpose of data processing: We collect your personal data to be able to accept, administer, and fulfill your orders for goods, including (but not limited to) payment processing, delivery of goods, acceptance of returned goods, invoicing, communicating with you regarding questions related to orders and their execution, handling these matters, etc.
2.1.2. Types of data processed: Within the framework of this data processing, we will process the following personal identifiers and contact information:
- First name,
- Surname,
- E-mail,
- Phone number,
- Address,
- Content of messages or correspondence,
- Ordered items/purchase data,
- IP address.
2.1.3. Legal basis: In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we process your data based on:
- Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party or to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6, Paragraph 1, Point b).
2.1.4. We do not process special categories of data.
2.1.5. Source of data: We have obtained your personal data from you when you:
- Register in our online store,
- Make a purchase in our online store,
- Fill out a form regarding the availability of a specific product in our online store.
2.1.6. Data recipients:
- Data is disclosed to those of our employees who require it for the performance of their direct duties to process and fulfill your order;
- We may provide your personal data to third parties to ensure the delivery of your requested goods (Omniva and Venipak – we transfer: name, surname, delivery address, phone) and payment processing (Paysera – we transfer: name, surname, purchase data);
- Your personal data may be transferred to third parties not only in the cases specified above, but also as we fulfill our legal obligations (for example, your data may be received by state administration authorities for the performance of their functions in cases specified in regulatory acts, and an outsourced accounting service provider for our bookkeeping – they receive all data included in the purchase invoice), as well as if a necessity arises to protect your or other persons' interests.
- We share only such personal data as is necessary to properly fulfill your purchase order and regulatory requirements. We may use personal data processors (for example, the online store hosting service provider). In such cases, we take the necessary measures to ensure that such processors process personal data according to our instructions and applicable regulatory acts, and we require appropriate security measures.
2.1.7. Transfer to third countries: Received data is not and will not be transferred outside Latvia, the European Union, or the European Economic Area, nor will it be transferred to any international organization.
2.2. Analysis of online store traffic, statistics, and visitor behavior
2.2.1. Purpose of data processing:
For analysis and statistics, we only process pseudonymized, generalized data and do not process your contact information or any other information that identifies you. I.e., analytical and statistical data do not allow for the identification of a specific user, are not linked to other data of an identified user, and are not combined into data sets by specific user.
We want the use of our online store to be as simple and convenient as possible, our range of products to be relevant and useful to customers, and the customer experience to be as good as possible. Therefore, for the purpose of expanding our operations and improving the online store, we constantly analyze how customers use our store and process the data indicated below.
With the help of Facebook Pixel, we can analyze the behavior of store visitors after they have been redirected to the provider's site by clicking an ad on Facebook. This allows us to evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes and to optimize future advertising measures. The data collected by Facebook Pixel is anonymous to us; we cannot draw any conclusions about the user's identity. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook data usage policy. This allows Facebook to place ads on Facebook pages and outside of Facebook. We cannot influence the use of this data.
2.2.2. Types of data processed: Within the framework of this data processing, we process the following pseudonymized, generalized data:
Google Analytics 4 data:
- User data: information about the user's device (full IP address is not stored for EU users), browser, and operating system to understand the technical demographics of your audience;
- Session data: session duration, visited pages, and the sequence of pages viewed;
- Traffic source data: how users arrived at the online store;
- Event data: information on specific actions or events triggered by users, such as page views, button clicks, product views, additions to the cart, purchases, file downloads, and custom events defined by the store owner.
Facebook Pixel data:
- HTTP headers: everything usually contained in HTTP headers, a standard web protocol sent between any browser request and any server on the internet; this information may include data such as IP addresses, web browser information, page location, document, referrer, and the person using the site;
- Pixel-specific data: includes the Pixel ID and Facebook cookie;
- Button click data: includes all buttons clicked by site visitors, the labels of these buttons, and all pages visited by clicking a button;
- Form field names: includes the names of the online store's form fields, such as "email", "address", "quantity", when you purchase a product or service. Field values are not captured unless you include them as part of advanced matching or conversion tracking.
2.2.3. Legal basis: In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, we process this data based on:
- The data subject has given unambiguous consent (meaning a freely given, specific, and informed indication of the data subject's wishes by which he or she signifies agreement to the processing of personal data) (GDPR Article 6, Paragraph 1, Point a).
2.2.5. Source of data: We have obtained the data from you based on your consent by confirming the use of Analytical cookies (Google Analytics) and/or Marketing cookies (Facebook Pixel) or by accepting the use of all cookies. You can accept or reject analytical and/or marketing cookies at any time by changing your selection of these cookies or deleting cookies using browser functionality.
2.2.6. Data recipients:
- Data is disclosed to those of our employees who require it for the performance of their direct duties to process and analyze statistical data;
- We may transfer this data to third parties to perform more effective statistical analysis of online store usage – to SEO, SEM, and traffic analysis service providers;
- Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (Google);
- Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin, D02, Ireland (Facebook).
2.2.7. Transfer to third countries: Regarding Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel cookies – these cookies may be sent outside the European Union or European Economic Area countries that have not been determined as adequate in providing a level of security, such as the USA. By agreeing to marketing and statistics cookies, regarding those that are Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel cookies, you agree that the cookies may also be transferred outside the European Union or European Economic Area countries.
3. How we store your personal information
We will store your personal data:
- As long as the contract concluded with you is in effect;
- As long as we or you can realize legitimate interests in accordance with the procedures specified in external regulatory acts;
- As long as there is a legal obligation to store the data;
- As long as your consent to the respective processing of personal data is in effect, if no other legal basis for data processing exists.
After the end of the storage period, your data will be deleted from the online store's database.
We protect your data using the possibilities of modern technology, taking into account the existing privacy risks and our reasonably available organizational, financial, and technical resources, including the use of the following security measures:
- Data encryption when transmitting data (SSL encryption);
- Firewall and antivirus programs on users' computers;
- Regular updates of the operating system and application software on users' computers;
- Other protection measures in accordance with current technical development possibilities.
4. Your data protection rights
You have the following rights regarding personal data protection:
Right to access your data: In exercising your right to access data, you need to indicate a specific time period and the data you wish to obtain from us. You have the right to request information from us about what data of yours is at our disposal, why we process it, how we obtained it and to whom we transferred it, how long it will be stored, and to receive a copy of your data. The request can be fulfilled faster if the time period is as short as possible and the request for information about your data is formulated as detailed as possible. It will help us provide an answer if we know for what purpose you wish to access the data.
Right to rectification: If you need to clarify or correct your personal data that is at our disposal, you must clearly indicate which data needs to be clarified and what the current information is. If the data was not obtained from you, please add a justification as to why the information to be corrected is considered inaccurate to facilitate a faster and more appropriate assessment of accuracy.
Right to erasure: For us to perform the deletion of your data, you must indicate exactly which personal data needs to be deleted and add a justification to this request. We remind you that in all cases, it may not be possible to delete the data.
Right to restrict processing: In case you are not convinced about whether we are processing the data appropriately, you can ask us to restrict the processing of specific data. The request to restrict data processing must include an indication of why, in your opinion, it is necessary to restrict this processing.
Right to object to processing: In certain cases, you may have the right to object to processing due to your individual considerations. In such a request, it is important to point out your individual circumstances due to which you object to the processing.
Right to data portability: If you want us to collect and transfer your personal data in our possession to another controller or send it to you, it is important to indicate which data you wish to transfer.
You can submit the respective requests in the following ways:
- In written form in person at our address, presenting a person-identifying document;
- Via electronic mail by sending a request signed with a secure electronic signature to the e-mail address info@detailingmania.eu;
- By sending a written application to our legal address (in this case, the issuance of data is performed by sending it in a registered letter to your declared place of residence address).
We will review your request without undue delay and provide an answer on the fulfillment or non-fulfillment of the request no later than within one month from the date of its receipt. In case the fulfillment of the request takes a longer time, we have the right to extend its fulfillment for another two months, but in any case, you will be informed about it within one month.
We have the right not to fulfill your request:
- If it is not formulated understandably;
- If we cannot identify you;
- If we have already provided an answer to such a request;
- If the volume of requested information is disproportionate;
- If the request is unfounded (not applicable to our company, no explanations provided as to why the request must be fulfilled);
- If regulatory acts specify that we are not entitled to provide such information to you or we are obliged to store specific data of yours.
When withdrawing consent for data processing, you must take into account that the withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of data processing performed before the withdrawal of consent.

If you believe that we have processed your data inappropriately, you have the right to submit a complaint to the data protection supervisory authority regarding the data processing performed by our organization:
