How to use PADDY pad cleaner?

Pre-soaking the pads

Regular pad cleaning usually does not require soaking the pads, however, in the case of old or extremely difficult dirt, we recommend pre-soaking the pads. This will soften the dirt and make subsequent removal less risky for the delicate structure of the polishing pad.

1. Shake the bottle vigorously to mix the contents.
2. Pour an appropriate amount of PADDY (approximately 50 ml per 5 l of water) into a bowl of warm water.
3. Soak the pads in the solution for several hours.
4. Rinse the pads thoroughly with clean, warm water.

After soaking, you can proceed with the main cleaning of the pads.

Cleaning the polishing pads with the triggering device

1. Shake the bottle vigorously to mix the contents.
2. Spray the surface of the pad generously with PADDY cleaner using the trigger.
3. Knead the pad as you would with a hand wash to remove dirt from its surface and interior.
4. If you have the option, use a dedicated pad cleaning brush.
5. Rinse the pad thoroughly under warm running water to remove any residual detergent.
6. Squeeze the excess water off the pad and allow the pad to dry.

Cleaning a polishing pad with Pad Washer

1. Shake the bottle vigorously to mix the contents.
2. Spray the pad surface generously with the trigger.
3. Use the Pad Washer to remove accumulated dirt.
4. Once you have finished cleaning, rinse the pads and spin them off using the Pad Washer.

Washing the pads in the washing machine

PADDY can also be used to wash pads in a washing machine. Make sure, however, that the pads are suitable for this, in particular that they will not be damaged during washing.

1. Shake the bottle vigorously to thoroughly mix the contents.
2. Measure out approximately 50 ml of PADDY detergent and add it to the wash.
3. Wash the pads at 40°C.
4. When you have finished washing, leave the pads to dry.
